Itinerary:
Day 1: ARRIVE IN ARUSHA
Arrive at JRO to be met by our representative and
transferred to Arusha.
Overnight on
Bed & Breakfast at Impala Hotel
Day 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving
in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing.
Lesser Kudu,
eland, lion and Gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park,
noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its
tree-climbing lions.
Dinner and
overnight at the lodge or tented camp –Tarangire Sopa or
similar
Day 3: TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon
you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of
the crater for a half-day crater tour.
Explore the forest
areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants; the lake
area, where you may see the flamingos and the open Savannah
where the lions hunt for food.

Day 4: NGORONGORO – SERENGETI
From Ngorongoro, drive to Serengeti National Park via
Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned
archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of
the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.
Lunch is at your
lodge in Serengeti. You will have an afternoon game drive in
the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the
great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of
lions lounging in the shade.

overnight at the lodge –Serengeti Serena or similar
Day 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Spend a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti.
Serengeti
national park briefs
The name Serengeti comes from a Maasai language word meaning
endless plains. The park is as big as Northern Ireland, its
ecosystem, which includes the Ngorongoro Conservation Area,
the Maswa Game Reserve and Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.
It lies between the shores of Lake Victoria in the west,
Lake Eyasi in the South, and the Great Rift Valley to the
East.
As such, it offers
the most complex and least disturbed ecosystem on earth. A
unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support
more than 30 species of the large herbivores and nearly 500
species of birds.

Day 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Spend another interesting day of game viewing across the
terrains of Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti is the
Tanzania’s oldest and most famous wildlife sanctuary, and
has been selected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Predictably the most popular of the country’s parks,
Serengeti is home to an unbelievable count of animals
championed by the ‘Big Five’, numerous plains species and
other large mammals.

Day 7: SERENGETI – LAKE MANYARA
Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast at the
Serengeti. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. Enjoy the
mid morning game viewing as you depart to Ngorongoro
Highlands. Lunch is at Gibbs Farm or similar, followed by an
afternoon visit to the waterfalls.

overnight at the lodge in Manyara –Lake Manyara Serena or

Day 8: LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA /
AIRPORT for departure
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake
Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos,
monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties
of bird life.
Enjoy a sumptuous
lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel / Lodge. After lunch, drive back
to Arusha and proceed to JRO for departure flight in the
evening.
